CLIENT

Global Engineering Services entity servicing Power, Energy & Transport clients for outsourcing the ENGINEERING SERVICES comprising Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Civil & Structural, Mechanical Engineering for mega projects in Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy, Water resources, Railways, Metro, Airport, Urban Transportation etc.

ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary BUSINESS HEAD to lead the engineering services business in the power and energy sector. The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth, managing operations, and ensuring excellence in detailed engineering services.

Key Drivers:

• Define and execute business strategies to expand engineering services in the power transmission, energy and transport sectors.
• Identify and secure new opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations with utilities, EPC firms, consultants, and global clients.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with NTPC, BHEL, Power Grid, REC, regulatory bodies, and other key decision-makers.
• Drive international growth by securing overseas projects and fostering relationships with global utilities and EPC companies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards.
• Orchestrate the Global Shared Services hub in India, overseeing the vertical from business development, operations to setup & lead large Global capability Centers in India and scale the Technology service offering from India.

Qualifications:

• Strategic Leader in Energy sector with rich Business Development orientation experience in business development, strategic networking, and project management.
• Prior exposure to overseas projects and experience working with key clients such as NTPC, BHEL, NPCIL, Power Grid, REC, Railways, Metro etc.
• Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams, optimizing business operations, and driving strategic business growth. Adept in aligning engineering functions with corporate goals and implementing best practices for operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement.
