Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Lucknow seeks qualified engineers for operations and maintenance of mechanical systems. Diploma in Mechanical with 4–13 years or BE/B.Tech (ME) with 4–10 years of experience, with hands-on O&M skills, is required.

Responsibilities include preventive, breakdown and predictive maintenance, CMMS monitoring, KPI compliance, and customer relationship management on site. Familiarity with transformers, motors, switchgear, and electrical inspections is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical with 4-13 years or BE/B.Tech (ME) with 4-10 years experience.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and pumps, valves and pipelines.
• Knowledge of EHS & Quality documents and SOPs; capable of subcontract/vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical equipment to reduce downtime and ensure efficient utility operation.
• Audit water/wastewater systems; perform maintenance planning and KPI monitoring.
• Manage customer relations and on-site coordination; implement safety and SOPs.

Job description

Candidate should have qualification of either diploma in Mechanical with 4-13years (OR) BE/B.Tech (ME) with min of 4 years and maximum of 10 years’ experience. Experience in the field of operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Having a keen experience in O&M of Various capacity HSC pumps, Vertical Turbine Pumps, compressors, Blowers, Different type of valves, pipeline networks etc., Having hands-on experience in Preventive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance and predictive maintenance. Provide excellent customer service, efficient system operation and effective communication strategies. Implementation & Monitoring the Computerized maintenance management system.

Proficiency in operations & maintenance of various machines & equipment, thereby reducing breakdown / downtime & enhancing operational effectiveness of utilities, tender work and business development. Skilled in auditing water & wastewater treatment plant and water/ sewer line commissioning, Operation & maintenance works. Capable to manage the customer with good relationship. Preparation & carry out monsoon activity as precautionary action. Implementation of EHS & Quality Documents & procedures Implementation of work related SOPs at site Managing Subcontracts, vendor contracts, supply agreements, Purchase orders, amendments. Having a keen experience in O&M of Various capacity Transformers, HT & LT motors, HT & LT switchgears, Capacitors etc., Having hands-on experience in Preventive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance and predictive maintenance Should be familiar with SLD and protection systems Should have hands on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets Exposure in manpower management and customer management. Thorough Knowledge in statutory requirement of electrical inspectorate.
