Larsen & Toubro in Chennai seeks an experienced electrical O&M professional to lead operation and maintenance of transformers, HT/LT motors, switchgears and DG sets. The role emphasizes preventive, breakdown and predictive maintenance, with hands-on knowledge of SLDs and protection systems.

You will train a reliability team and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Coordination with clients, HQ and stakeholders, plus managing subcontracts and contracts, are core duties while delivering

Qualifications

• Qualification: diploma in EEE with 5–15 years OR BE/B.Tech (EEE) with 6–13 years experience.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and customer management.
• Knowledge of electrical inspectorate statutory requirements and safety procedures.

Candidate should have qualification of either diploma in EEE with 5-15 years (OR) BE/B.Tech (EEE) with min of 6 years and maximum of 13 years’ experience. Experience in the field of operation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Having a keen experience in O&M of Various capacity Transformers, HT & LT motors, HT & LT switchgears, Capacitors etc., Having hands-on experience in Preventive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance and predictive maintenance Should be familiar with SLD and protection systems Should have hands on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets Exposure in manpower management and customer management. Thorough Knowledge in statutory requirement of electrical inspectorate. Should have ability to train and build a strong reliability team Should have good negotiations skills Should have strong orientation towards continual improvement Provide excellent customer service, efficient system operation and effective communication strategies. Coordination with Client, HQ and various stack holders. Capable to manage the customer with good relationship. Preparation & carry out monsoon activity as precautionary action. Implementation of EHS & Quality Documents & procedures Implementation of work related SOPs at site Managing Subcontracts, vendor contracts, supply agreements, Purchase orders, amendments. Monitoring & Control to comply KPI’s
Basic operation knowledge in MS office. Root cause analysis for the failure’s. Implementation & Monitoring the Computerized maintenance management system.
