Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Jaipur seeks an experienced Mechanical O&M professional to oversee operation and maintenance of pumps, turbines, compressors, and pipelines. The role emphasizes preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance with strong customer service focus.

The candidate will implement and monitor CMMS, supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with EHS and quality procedures at the site. 4–13 years for diploma or 4–10 years for BE/BTech are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Diploma (Mechanical) with 4–13 years OR BE/BTech (ME) with 4–10 years experience.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, valves and pipelines.
• Hands-on in preventive, breakdown and predictive maintenance.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and effective communication.
• Experience in implementing and monitoring CMMS.
• Auditing water and wastewater treatment and conducting line commissioning.
• Manage subcontractors, vendor contracts and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and improve utility operations.
• Audit water/wastewater plants and commission water/sewer lines.
• Maintain good customer relationships and clear communication.
• Implement EHS and quality documents and SOPs at site.
• Monitor subcontractors, vendor contracts and purchase orders to ensure KPI reach.

Job description

Candidate should have qualification of either diploma in Mechanical with 4-13years (OR) BE/B.Tech (ME) with min of 4 years and maximum of 10 years’ experience. Experience in the field of operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Having a keen experience in O&M of Various capacity HSC pumps, Vertical Turbine Pumps, compressors, Blowers, Different type of valves, pipeline networks etc., Having hands-on experience in Preventive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance and predictive maintenance. Provide excellent customer service, efficient system operation and effective communication strategies. Implementation & Monitoring the Computerized maintenance management system.

Proficiency in operations & maintenance of various machines & equipment, thereby reducing breakdown / downtime & enhancing operational effectiveness of utilities, tender work and business development. Skilled in auditing water & wastewater treatment plant and water/ sewer line commissioning, Operation & maintenance works. Capable to manage the customer with good relationship. Preparation & carry out monsoon activity as precautionary action.
