Job summary

Photon in Chennai is seeking a Drupal + PHP developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications. This role involves building and customizing Drupal modules, themes, and components, and working with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to deliver responsive user interfaces.

You will collaborate with architects and cross‑functional teams through design, development, and deployment to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with PHP and Drupal.

Design, develop, and maintain web applications

Build and customize Drupal modules, themes, and components; develop .

Work with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., React/Angular) to deliver responsive and accessible user interfaces.

Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams during design, development, and deployment phases to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Analyze business and system requirements, translating them into scalable and efficient technical solutions.

Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability standards.

Participate in deployment activities, including code reviews, CI/CD processes, and environment management across development, staging, and production.

Integrate third-party APIs, services, and enterprise systems as required.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to applications.

Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring compatibility with evolving platforms and technologies.

Contribute to defining best practices, coding standards, and development processes.

Manage tasks effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment, including sprint planning, tracking, and reporting.

Document technical designs, processes, and solutions clearly for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience PHP and Drupal

Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and third-party integrations
