Job summary

Detect Technologies is seeking a Drone Pilot in Chennai, India, to plan and execute drone flights, ensure equipment operates reliably, and comply with DGCA regulations. You will capture imagery and video, analyze data, and provide client-ready reports.

You will perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, log flight data, and collaborate with on-site teams to ensure safe, efficient operations and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• DGCA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate UAVs in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure drones are in optimal working condition.
• Develop flight plans considering weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and mission objectives.
• Capture high-quality aerial imagery, video footage, or other data as required by clients or project specifications.
• Maintain situational awareness during flights to avoid hazards and ensure safety of people and property.
• Perform routine maintenance on drones and related equipment to ensure continued reliability.
• Keep detailed records of flight activities, including flight logs and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution on site.
• Stay up to date with DGCA rules and regulations.
