• Proficiency with maintenance, calibration, and testing tools.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations for drones.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of drones.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot drone components and subsystems.
• Repair or replace damaged drone parts promptly.
• Calibrate and fine-tune drone systems for precise flights.
• Test drones to verify repairs and performance.

Job Overview: We are seeking askilled and detail-oriented Drone Maintenance Technician to join our dynamicteam. As a Drone Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuringthe proper functionality, safety, and maintenance of our fleet of drones and customers drones. Yourexpertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various drone modelswill be instrumental in keeping our aerial operations running smoothly. • Conduct routineinspections, testing, and maintenance of drones to ensure optimal performanceand safety.
• Diagnose andtroubleshoot technical issues with drones and their components, includingmotors, sensors, GPS systems, and communication modules.
• Perform repairs andreplacements of damaged or malfunctioning drone parts in a timely manner tominimize downtime.
• Calibrate andfine-tune drone systems to maintain precision and accuracy during flightoperations.
• Test the Drones in multiple aspects to ensure that the repairs have be completed.
• QA/QC of the repairs / maintenance/ testing performed
• Collaborate withdrone operators and other team members to understand and address specificoperational requirements.
• Maintaincomprehensive records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspectionsfor documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Keep abreast of thelatest developments and trends in drone technology, regulations, and bestpractices.
• Develop and implementpreventive maintenance schedules to reduce the risk of unexpected equipmentfailures.
• Monitor battery lifeand charging cycles, ensuring drones are powered up and ready for operation.
• Follow establishedsafety protocols and guidelines while handling and maintaining drones.
• In addition to the above, the employee shall be responsible for visiting on testing sites or client sites for drone flying, drone testing, repairs, maintenance
• Research and implement new techniques throughout PIS for providing better services to clients.
• Any/all other services if required by the company

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical orvocational training in electronics, robotics, aviation, or a related fieldis preferred.
  
• Proven experience as a Drone Repair Technician or similar role, with a track record of maintaining andrepairing various electronic components.
  
• Solid understanding of drone technology,including motors, batteries, flight controllers, GPS systems, andcommunication modules.
  
• Familiarity with different drone manufacturersand their respective maintenance procedures.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals,schematics, and diagrams related to drone maintenance and repair.
  
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment fordrone maintenance, calibration, and testing.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keenattention to detail to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulationsrelated to drone operation and maintenance.
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills tocollaborate effectively with drone operators and other team members.
  
• Physical capability to lift and carry heavy droneequipment and perform tasks in outdoor environments.
  
• R&D Experience to implement new workflows
  

Preferred Qualifications (if any, not mandatory):

• Prior experience with drone flying, calibrations and firmwareupdates.
  
• Knowledge of computer programming or codinglanguages for drone customization and modification.
  
• Experience in maintaining other types of unmannedaerial vehicles (UAVs) or remotely operated systems
  
• Remote Pilot Certificate issued by DGCA
• Education in Mechanical Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering/ Mechatronic/ Electronics Engineering
