Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking an experienced PHE & FF design/draftsman in Mumbai. The role involves preparing layouts, schematics, and builders work drawings for PHE and fire services, plus coordination with other MEP trades and 2D CAD deliverables.

The candidate should have 4-5 years of professional PHE/FF experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and good English communication to mentor junior drafters and support project teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare PHE & FF layouts at different detailing levels for various project stages.
• Create schematics for PHE & Fire services.
• Develop STP layouts and space planning for plant rooms and equipment like water tanks and pumps.
• Produce builders work drawings for PHE & FF.
• Coordinate mechanical 2D drawings and other MEP services.
• Generate sections, schedules and schematics in CAD; produce GFC drawings.
• Prepare piping, valves, and equipment summaries; report to manager.

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of PHE & Fire services layouts with various levels of detailing for different stages of the project.
• Preparation of the schematics for PHE & Fire services.
• Preparation of STP layouts.
• Preparation of PHE & FF Equipment, water tank, pump rooms, WTP etc. layout and space planning, plant room drawings etc
• Preparation of PHE & FF builders work drawing.
• Generating all kinds of mechanical 2D and coordination with other MEP services.
• Generating sections/schedules/schematics in CAD.
• Experience in creating GFC Drawings and Coordinated MEP Drawings.
• Preparation of Measurement Sheet of piping, valves, Equipment Summary.
• Report to the manager/engineer in charge and perform work task assigned.

Guide other team members in preparation of Engineering deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must possess with 4-5 years of professional experience in PHE & FF system design/drafting.
• Must possess the ability to develop complex drawings with minimal guidance from other senior staff.
• Should have flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines and can be relied on to meet deadlines.
• Should be committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience and knowledge base.
• Must possess professional English language skills (written and verbal).
• Should be able to communicate clearly with team members.
• Should have knowledge of softwares such as AutoCAD.

Should be able to work in a team and support, mentor and develop junior draftsman

• 12 + with certification in AutoCAD, NCVT, ITI
• 4-5 years of professional experience in PHE & FF system design/drafting
