Job summary

Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Draftsman / CAD Engineer responsible for preparation of detailed fabrication drawings, shop drawings, nesting drawings, and manufacturing documentation to support production and project execution activities. The role requires strong drafting accuracy, coordination with production teams, and effective revision control management.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD (mandatory) and SolidWorks (preferred), with knowledge of fabrication

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship.
• 2–4 years of drafting experience with focus on fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings.
• Generate CNC bending and nesting drawings per production requirements.
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings and shop drawings.
• Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain revision control and document management.
• Coordinate with production for manufacturing feasibility and clarifications.
• Support BOM preparation by Design/Engineering teams.
• Modify drawings based on production feedback and project changes.

• Ensure timely release of drawings to support production schedules.
