Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–1 year of experience; freshers encouraged to apply.
• Familiar with 2D fabrication drawings and drafting standards.
• Knowledge of BOM and fabrication processes.
• Willingness to learn new software and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D fabrication and assembly drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist in preparing detailed manufacturing drawings for steel structures, vessels, tanks, piping, and fabricated components.
• Support the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Learn and follow engineering drawing standards and company drafting procedures.
• Revise drawings based on engineer or client comments.
• Maintain drawing revisions and document control records.
• Coordinate with the production team to understand fabrication requirements.
• Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within project timelines.
• Assist senior draughtsmen in preparing Plate Cutting Layouts (PCL) and fabrication details.
• Follow quality standards and engineering best practices while preparing drawings.

• Job Overview:

The Junior Mechanical Draughtsman is responsible for preparing and modifying 2D drawings under the guidance of senior engineers and designers.
