Job summary

S R Manpower Thane is seeking an experienced drafter to support mechanical, electrical and piping drawings for plant projects in Mumbai. Candidates should have 10-12 years of drafting experience, with expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and 3D modeling, and strong English and MS Office skills.

The role involves preparing detailed fabrication drawings, isometrics, GA, assembly and BOM/MTO updates, along with on-site support during fabrication activities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a drafter with strong drawing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office is essential.
• Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Plant/Equipment, Fabrication Drawings for Company Projects.
• Create PID drawings, piping 3D modelling, and isometrics with MTO.
• Layout and foundation planning for equipment, cable trays, and supports.
• Provide site support and update BOM/MTO with revisions.
• Assist in prototype development and new product design.

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of Plant/Equipment, Fabrication Drawings for Company Projects
• Complete PID Drawing
• Complete Piping 3D Modelling
• Equipment layout with foundation plan.
• Structure Modelling
• Cable Tray Modelling
• Isometric Drawing with MTO and Bulk MTO
• Layout for Piping
• Cable Tray Layout
• Supports of the above items and MTO
• Cable Routing as per Cable Schedule along with BOQ.
• Support at Manufacturing Site for Fabrication works being carried out.
• Layout of Electrical Drawings.
• Site Visit
• Preparation of GA, assembly and detailed manufacturing drawings for mechanical components and equipment, including GD&T, tolerances and material specifications.
• Preparation of detailed fabrication, machining and sheet-metal drawings for mechanical components, assemblies and equipment.
• Preparation and updating of BOM/MTO, part lists and revision-controlled manufacturing documents, along with incorporation of design/fabrication modifications.
• Support for prototype development, equipment modification and new product development.
