Job summary
Amperehour Energy is seeking a Draftsman to prepare detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings for electrical panels, BESS containers, and related mechanical assemblies. The role covers GA, fabrication, assembly drawings, BOMs, isometrics, and sheet metal patterns.
The candidate will support mechanical design, update drawings per comments, and coordinate with production to ensure on-time releases while maintaining documentation and revision control.
Qualifications
- Prepare detailed 2D and fabrication drawings for electrical panels, BESS containers, and related assemblies.
- Create GA, fabrication, assembly drawings, BOMs, isometrics, and sheet metal patterns.
- Support mechanical design and revise drawings per feedback and standards.
Responsibilities
- Draft and detail detailed 2D drawings and fabrication drawings for specified components.
- Provide design support and update drawings with engineering comments.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure drawing releases per schedule.
- Maintain drawing documentation and revision history per standards.

- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and fabrication drawings for:
- Design Support
- Support mechanical design engineers in drawing preparation and revisions.
- Update drawings as per engineering comments and site feedback.
- Maintain revision records and drawing documentation.
- Manufacturing Coordination
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams.
- Support shop-floor clarification related to drawings.
- Ensure drawings are released as per project schedule.
- Standards & Documentation
- Follow company drafting standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and proper dimensioning.
- Maintain drawing database and documentation control.
- AutoCAD drafting
