Amperehour Energy is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer for BESS applications to lead detailed 3D modeling and enclosure/container design, coordinating with electrical and CFD teams to deliver optimized modules.
The role emphasizes manufacturability, BOM preparation, sheet metal design, and integration of battery systems with HVAC and electrical panels, ensuring standards compliance and robust manufacturing support.
The Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for detailed 3D modeling, mechanical design, and manufacturing drawings for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications. The candidate should have strong experience in battery pack enclosure design, BESS container design, ACDB panel design, structural assemblies, sheet metal design, and integration of electrical and mechanical components. The role requires close coordination with electrical, CFD, structural, and manufacturing teams to develop optimized and manufacturable BESS solutions.
