Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Draftsman/CAD Engineer for Umbergaon factory to prepare detailed fabrication and shop drawings, nesting drawings, and manufacturing documentation supporting production and project execution.

The role demands strong drafting accuracy, coordination with production teams, and robust revision control. 2-4 years experience and ITI/Diploma/BE in mechanical or civil engineering or drafting required; AutoCAD is mandatory and SolidWorks preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship.
• CNC bending and nesting drawing knowledge.
• AutoCAD mandatory; SolidWorks preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• BOM support and drawing management.
• Revision control and drawing management.
• Attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
• Coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings.
• Generate CNC bending and nesting drawings as per production requirements.
• Prepare GA drawings and shop drawings.
• Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain proper revision control and document management.
• Coordinate with the production department for manufacturing feasibility.
• Support Design and Engineering teams in BOM preparation.
• Modify drawings based on production feedback and project changes.
• Ensure timely release of drawings to support production schedules.
