Job summary

Nokia is seeking a skilled QA professional to lead application product testing across Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, AKS). You will contribute to test automation with Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium and develop comprehensive test plans to ensure scalable, high-quality software.

Join a cross-functional team to drive performance improvements and stay ahead with new technologies like Microservices, Kubernetes, and SDN/NFV.

Qualifications

• 8–14 years of hands-on experience with automation using Robot Framework, Python and Selenium.
• Experience with Open Source Kubernetes, OpenShift, and major clouds (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Extensive E2E testing experience in Networking, EMS/NMS, and Telecom domains.
• Experience with performance testing to ensure scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead application product testing across platforms including Open Source Kubernetes, RHEL OpenShift, and public clouds such as AWS, Google, and Azure.
• Contribute to test automation efforts using Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium, including script writing and debugging.
• Develop and review comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover functional, boundary, and negative scenarios.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Development and Project Management to deliver high-quality results.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives to meet performance benchmarks.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Lead application product testing across multiple platforms, including Open Source K8s, RHEL OpenShift and Public Clouds (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Contribute to test automation efforts using Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium, including script writing, failure analysis and debugging.
• Develop and review comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring extensive coverage of functional, boundary and negative scenarios.
• Build working relationships with Product Management, Architecture, Development and Project Management teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Initiate and contribute to performance improvement initiatives, ensuring that the application products meet performance benchmarks.
• Stay at the forefront of new technologies, including Microservices, Kubernetes, SDN/NFV, and Cloud solutions, to continuously improve testing practices and solutions.
• Drive product quality by identifying testing improvements and focusing on the overall software development and testing lifecycles.

Key Skills And Experience

Must have skills:

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering stream between 8 to 14 years of hands-on experience with automation tools such as Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium for writing test scripts and analyzing automation failures.
• Experience in Open Source Kubernetes, RHEL OpenShift, Public Clouds (AWS, Google, Azure), and containerized environments.
• Extensive experience in application product E2E system testing within Networking, EMS/NMS, and Telecom domains.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and techniques to ensure the scalability and efficiency of applications.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with key Telecom technologies including SNMP, Netconf/Yang, SDN/NFV, FCAPS, and Microservices.
• Understanding of security testing methodologies and the ability to identify vulnerabilities in cloud-based applications.
• Deeper knowledge of telecom protocols and network management practices for better test scenario creation and execution.
