Job summary

gramsathi is seeking a seasoned Program Manager in India to lead budgeting, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration for development initiatives. The role focuses on monitoring impact, engaging with partners, and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.

The candidate should have 5–7 years in development and sustainability, with strong analytical and communication skills, and be able to work across departments with external partners to achieve goals.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Social work, Developmental Studies, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) in a related field is a plus.
  • Around 5 to 7 years of experience in development & sustainability, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social impact strategies, sustainability frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to work across departments and with external partners to achieve common goals.
  • Analytical skills to measure and report the impact of social initiatives using relevant metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Report program progress; collect and analyze data to measure effectiveness and impact.
  • Provide stakeholders with clear summaries of achievements and areas for improvement.

Job description

Responsibilities
Creating Program Budgets and Allocating Resources
  • Strategically planning and managing financial resources to ensure the successful implementation of program activities.
  • Handling and considering factors the program’s goals and objectives, anticipated expenses, available funding sources, and any restrictions or guidelines set by donors or funders.
Monitoring and Evaluating Program Impact
  • Monitoring and evaluating program impact program management process.
  • Measuring and assessing the outcomes and effectiveness of their programs, intended goals and making a positive impact.
Promoting Team Collaboration and Communication
  • Reach out to preliminary action & audits, and develop tailored action plans for each client.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with partners with relevant capacities and inclinations. Provide hands-on support to clients, and conduct site visits for audits and inspections.
Reporting Program Progress and Outcomes
  • Reporting program progress in managing role.
  • Collecting and analysing data to measure the effectiveness and impact of the program.
  • Provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of the program’s achievements and areas for improvement.
