Job Description
We are looking for a District Coordinator to supportthe implementation of AI driven solutions in health sector. The role involvescoordinating with Health Providers like CHO’s/GNM/ANM and ASHA’s, stakeholdercollaboration, data management, and mentoring block-level teams.
1. Program Implementation
- Provideon‑ground support to facilitate effective implementation of AI‑drivenhealth solutions across assigned districts.
- Monitorand track progress of deployed solutions to ensure timely, efficient, andhigh‑quality implementation.
- Conductregular field visits to support frontline activities and proactivelytroubleshoot operational and technology‑related challenges.
- Strongunderstanding of child health programs, TB initiatives, HBNC and community‑basedinterventions.
3. ASHA Engagement & Community Coordination
- Experiencein mentoring and supervising Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) toimprove HBNC visits, immunization coverage, and TB screening outputs.
- Buildculturally sensitive and inclusive approaches to ensure equitableparticipation.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Liaiseeffectively with District/Sub‑Divisional Administration, HealthDepartment, and development partners.
- Buildand maintain partnerships to enhance program visibility, credibility, andimpact.
- Aligninterventions with state and national health priorities throughcollaborative engagement.
8. Monitoring & Evaluation
- TrackASHA performance, analyze field data, and provide actionable feedback toimprove service delivery.
- Conductregular field visits to assess program implementation and provide ongoingguidance.
- Providesupportive supervision to block‑level teams, ensuring adherence to programguidelines and objectives.
10. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Documentsuccess stories, best practices, and innovative approaches to showcaseprogram impact.
- Shareinsights and case studies with the State Program Team for broaderknowledge dissemination.
- Identifypotential risks to program implementation and develop corrective actionsto address challenges effectively.
- Undertakeadditional responsibilities, as assigned, to ensure successful achievementof program objectives.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Graduate degree with atleast 3 years of work experience in the health sector or A Master’s degreein Public Health, Social Work, Social Sciences, Media & Communication,Rural Development, or a related field from a reputed university/instituteis preferred.
- Professional Experience: 2–5 years of experiencemanaging district‑level health programs, including ASHAs, HBNC, andimmunization initiatives — preferably with the Government of Nagaland.
- Program Management Expertise: 3–5 years ofdemonstrated experience in program management, with strong skills inplanning, monitoring, and evaluating community‑based interventions.
- Health Systems Familiarity: In‑depth knowledge ofnational and state health programs, with proven experience in engaging andsupporting ASHAs.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to workeffectively in multi‑disciplinary teams, analyze reports, and engage withgrassroots organizations to strengthen program delivery.
Location: Kohima with regular travel to Dimapur
