Job summary

Supra Industries is seeking a results-driven Market Development & Sales professional to drive distributor marketing, lead generation, and customer engagement. The role requires cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, operations and logistics to ensure timely delivery and satisfied customers.

You will manage CRM/DMS usage, coordinate campaigns, build a strong pipeline, and travel locally to engage customers and execute field activities.

Responsibilities

  • Execute distributor marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns as per the annual marketing plan.
  • Support local marketing activities while ensuring brand compliance.
  • Coordinate and execute BTL activities, customer engagement programs, product promotions, and technical events.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and maintain execution reports.
  • Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities, new product launches, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial segments.
  • Generate leads through outbound calls, customer referrals, market intelligence, digital campaigns, and field activities.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up and closure of qualified leads.
  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline in CRM/DMS and track opportunity progress.
  • Submit periodic lead status reports and sales activity updates.
  • Act as the secondary point of contact for industrial customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable lubrication solutions.
  • Build long-term customer relationships to improve retention and repeat business.
  • Handle customer enquiries, service requests, and complaints promptly while coordinating with internal teams for timely resolution.
  • Support order processing, invoicing, dispatch coordination, and order tracking.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate order status and delivery updates to customers.
  • Ensure smooth Order-to-Cash (O2C) process execution.
  • Prepare quotations in line with company pricing policies.
  • Support contract documentation and tender submissions.
  • Assist in maintaining commercial discipline and customer documentation.
  • Stay updated with STAPL's product portfolio and industrial applications.
  • Participate in product, sales, and technical training programs.
  • Continuously enhance consultative selling, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
