Job summary

Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited (HOEC) in Mumbai seeks a senior offshore operations professional to monitor and control production using DCS and related control-room systems. You will oversee process parameters, alarms, and equipment status to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.

The role requires 10+ years in Oil & Gas, offshore process operations, and valid BOSIET/FOET with offshore medical fitness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
• Relevant experience in offshore oil & gas/process operations.
• DCS/Control Room operating experience preferred.
• Valid BOSIET/FOET and offshore medical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas, and related control systems.
• Monitor pressure, temperature, flow, level, and other process parameters.
• Respond to alarms, trips, and abnormal operating conditions.
• Coordinate with field operators and maintenance teams.
• Perform start-up, shutdown, and emergency operating procedures.
• Maintain shift logs, production reports, and proper shift handovers.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE and operational procedures.

Job Description

Responsible for monitoring and controlling offshore oil & gas production operations through the DCS/Control Room systems. Monitor process parameters, alarms, equipment status, and ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
