Qualifications

• Minimum 12-15+ years in technology consulting with 5+ years in Director or Senior Management at a premier firm.
• GTM strategy execution, pre-sales, and revenue target attainment are essential.
• Deep Retail & Consumer Goods domain knowledge including omnichannel, promotions, inventory, and customer master setups.
• Experience leading 2-3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformations in the R&C sector (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Central Finance).
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or finance qualifications highly preferred; SAP S/4HANA certifications favored.

Job description

As a Director within SAP Advisory practice, you will lead a community of solvers to build trust and deliver sustained outcomes for our clients. You will serve as the strategic bridge between SAP technology, Go-to-Market execution, and business transformation for premier brands in the Retail & Consumer (R&C) ecosystem—including grocery, fashion, e-commerce, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The ideal candidate must possess a proven track record of driving Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives, originating a robust pipeline, crafting industry-specific solutions, and architecting large-scale SAP S/4HANA digital transformations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Business Development

• Pipeline Generation: Define, own, and execute the SAP S/4HANA market approach for the R&C sector to grow footprint.
• Deal Shaping & Origination: Lead high-value client proposals, RFPs, and solution demonstrations; effectively communicate business value propositions to C-level stakeholders.
• Alliance Management: Act as a main point of contact for the SAP alliance team, co-selling and establishing joint GTM campaigns centered on RISE with SAP and cloud core modernization.
• Thought Leadership: Author industry-specific points of view (POVs) and present specialized R&C assets at major industry conferences and SAP ecosystem events.

2. R&C Industry Solutioning & Delivery Excellence

• Strategic Advisory: Serve as an executive advisor to R&C clients, translating complex technology landscapes into actionable business transformation roadmaps.
• Blueprint & Architecture: Oversee the conceptualization of end-to-end solutions mapping to R&C critical pathways, such as omnichannel order management (OTC), digital supply chain, trade promotion management, and modern retail finance.
• Program Governance: Provide delivery leadership and governance across a portfolio of complex, international SAP S/4HANA implementations, ensuring strict adherence to budget, schedule, and quality benchmarks.

3. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Practice Development: Build, mentor, and upscale a high-performing team of functional and technical SAP consultants specialized in the R&C domain.
• Asset Creation: Direct the creation of pre-configured templates, industry accelerators, and proof-of-concept models to reduce total delivery costs and accelerate client time-to-market.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 12-15+ years in technology consulting, with at least 5+ years in a dedicated Director or Senior Management capacity with a premier consulting firm or Global Systems Integrator.
• GTM Experience: Proven capability in GTM strategy execution, pre-sales solutioning, and hitting business development/revenue targets.
• Sector Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in the Retail & Consumer Goods sector with a thorough grasp of industry nuances like omnichannel distribution, promotional mechanics, inventory optimization, and customer master setups.
• SAP Mastery: Experience leading at least 2 to 3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformations within the R&C sector (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Central Finance).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; an MBA or a professional finance qualification (e.g., CA/CPA) is highly preferred.
• Certifications: Active SAP S/4HANA functional or architectural certifications are heavily favored.
