Job summary

Flex in Sriperumbudur, Chennai is seeking a Director – Quality to lead quality operations across manufacturing.

You will monitor process quality, drive yield improvements, oversee NPIs to mass production, and partner with engineering and customers on quality metrics.

This role requires 15+ years in quality leadership in electronics/SMT, strong communication, and ability to influence top management.

Qualifications

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director – Quality located in Sriperumbudur, Chennai.

What a typical day looks like:

• To monitor the Manufacturing Process Quality performance for all products
• Drive processes towards achieving the targeted yield performance, working with team Monitoring, Process and Product quality audits and drive closure properly
• Establish processes in line with the customer requirement (NPI to Mass Production) and constantly improving results
• Single Point of Contact for all customer related queries on quality aspects
• Regular interactions and reviews with customers on metrics and driving actions towards the results
• Prepares and implements QA Policies and Procedures.
• Reports progress to customers as required. Maintains contact with customers to ensure their business needs are met or exceeded.
• Responsible for product reliability testing and results
• Reviews discrepancy reports and implements corrective actions.
• Evaluates content of reports from product assurance program department heads and confers with top management in formulating fiscal budget for product assurance program.
• Confers with engineering about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Minimum 15+years of experience in managing Quality operations as a Quality Head.
• Experience in Electronics manufacturing industry and SMT background required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
• Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
• Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
