Stellar Talent Hr Consultancy Chennai is seeking a Director/Associate Director to own the vision, strategy and execution of an Enterprise S2P SaaS platform. Director/Associate Director Sourcing/Product/Consulting

About the Role

We are looking for a Director/Associate Director-level Product leader to own the vision, strategy and execution of our Enterprise Source-to-Pay (S2P) SaaS platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who has lived the sourcing and procurement problem first-hand, advised enterprises on it as a consultant, and then built products to solve it.

You will work closely with Leadership, Engineering, Design, Sales, Customers and Implementation teams to build a scalable, differentiated procurement platform with AI and Agentic capabilities, taking the S2P platform from 01 and 110.

What You Will Own

1. Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and own the product vision and multi-year strategy for the S2P platform.
• Build and manage the annual and quarterly product roadmap.
• Identify market opportunities and define differentiation against Tier 1 S2P platforms.
• Drive product-market fit, customer adoption and expansion.
• Balance customer requirements with scalable, configurable product capabilities.

2. Sourcing Domain Leadership

• Be the in-house authority on strategic sourcing: category strategy, spend cube analysis, RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ), e-auctions, bid analysis, negotiation and award, TCO and savings tracking.
• Translate real-world sourcing and category management practices into product workflows.
• Bring a consultant’s structured problem-solving to customer engagements and product design.

3. Product Discovery & Customer

• Work directly with enterprise customers, CPOs, procurement leaders and business stakeholders.
• Identify real customer problems and convert them into product opportunities.
• Lead discovery, validation and prioritization.
• Build a strong feedback loop between customers, Product, Engineering and GTM.
• Support pre-sales, solution design and key customer conversations.

4. Source-to-Pay Product

Own the evolution of the complete journey:

Demand Requisition Sourcing Supplier Management Contracts PO Supplier Collaboration GRN Invoice Spend Analytics

5. AI & Agentic Product

• Define and execute the AI/Agentic roadmap for procurement, for example Procurement Copilot, Supplier Scout, Sourcing Agent, Contract Intelligence, Spend Intelligence, Demand Intake Agent, and Invoice/PO Exception Agent.
• Identify where AI creates measurable procurement value (savings, cycle time, compliance), not just AI features.

6. Product Execution

• Translate strategy into clear requirements and roadmaps.
• Partner with Engineering, UX and QA to deliver high-quality releases.
• Establish a strong Discovery PRD Development QA Release process.
• Drive prioritization across features, platform improvements, technical debt and customer commitments.
• Ensure predictable, outcome-driven delivery.

7. Enterprise Platform & Integrations

• Drive a scalable enterprise architecture across SAP ECC / S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP CPI / CIG, other ERP and Finance systems, APIs and third-party platforms.

8. UX & Product Experience

• Own the product experience with the Design team.
• Simplify complex enterprise procurement workflows.
• Ensure consistency across modules, navigation and user journeys.
• Build a product that is easy to adopt, use and demonstrate.

9. Product Organization

• Build, mentor and grow a high-performing Product team.
• Establish product management processes, standards and operating cadence.
• Coach Product Managers on discovery, prioritization, PRDs and execution.
• Create clear ownership across product areas.

Must Have

• 10–20 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in Product Management / Product Leadership.
• Deep Sourcing / Procurement domain expertise (strategic sourcing, category management, RFx, e-auctions, supplier management).
• Consulting experience in procurement or supply chain (Big 4 / strategy / procurement advisory) with exposure to enterprise clients.
• Hands-on Product Lead / Product Owner experience on an S2P or procurement SaaS platform.
• Significant experience building B2B / Enterprise SaaS products; experience taking products 01 and/or 110.
• Proven ownership of product strategy and roadmap.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers and complex enterprise workflows.
• Strong customer discovery and product-market-fit mindset.
• Proven collaboration with Engineering, UX, Sales and Customers.
• Experience managing and mentoring Product Managers.
• Working understanding of GenAI / Agentic AI and its application to enterprise workflows.
• Good understanding of APIs, cloud, databases and enterprise integrations.

Good to Have

• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management, Spend Management, P2P, or Supplier Risk/Performance.
• Exposure to ERP / Enterprise Applications (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Ariba, Oracle) and Finance / Supply Chain SaaS.
• Hands-on experience with a Tier 1 S2P platform.
• Experience in pre-sales, solutioning or implementation of procurement technology.
• Technology or engineering background.
• Prior experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Published thought leadership in procurement or procurement tech.

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology (B.E. / B.Tech) or equivalent.
• Strongly preferred: MBA / PGDM from a Tier 1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, MDI or equivalent), ideally with Operations, Supply Chain or Strategy specialization.
• Good-to-have certifications: CIPS, CPSM / CSCP (ISM/APICS), Lean Six Sigma, CSPO / Pragmatic Product Management, or Cloud/AI certifications.
