Director – Private Credit

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Director Private Credit. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our private credit strategy, particularly as we raise and deploy our 4th Fund (– 4000 Crores). The role involves end-to-end ownership of structuring, underwriting, and executing investments while helping build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising & Deployment: Lead fundraising efforts for Fund #4 (Target: – 2000 Crores + – 2000 Crores GSO) and strategically deploy capital, focusing on non-high yield transactions and companies with positive cash flows.
• Investment Strategy: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities with a cheque size of ~– 100 Crores, perform detailed structuring and underwriting to ensure robust investment decisions, and leverage prior experience to achieve target IRR (First two funds have delivered ~18% IRR).
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of 4-5 professionals, including a senior private credit specialist, and foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with SEBI-approved regulatory processes for Fund #4 and maintain relationships with investors and key industry stakeholders.
