Roles and Responsibilities :

● Manage a team of software engineers, and provide engineering leadership to the team

● Responsible for overall design and architecture decisions balancing short-term and long-term needs.

● Get hands-on with coding, design, and code reviews

● Hire and grow a strong engineering team

● Responsible for all aspects of self and team’s work, including quality, project management, devops, and sustenance

● Interface with the Product Management & UX teams to realize use cases/feature roadmaps

Education & Experience

● Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, engineering, or related experience

● 8+ years of experience in developing scalable mobile & cloud apps

● 4+ years people management experience

● Strong software design, coding, and testing skills. (All 3 will be tested deeply during the interview)

● Demonstrated experience working on SaaS and building scalable cloud solutions

● Experience with mobile front-end development

● Experience with devops and managing cloud deployments

● Strong focus on testing and quality. Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams without a separate QA team is a plus.

● Strong English verbal and written communication skills

● Analytical & creative problem-solving skills

● Energetic, cheerful, can-do attitude. Results oriented.

● Strong empathy and inter-personal skills. Known for inspiring and motivating people and bringing out the best in them. References from previous direct reports required.

● Passion to make customers successful.

● Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-moving, and friendly startup environment
