Job summary

Park Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC, seeks a Director of Engineering to lead the division's efficient operation in line with Hyatt International's strategies and brand standards, while meeting guest, employee and owner expectations.

The role requires a university degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management, plus at least two years in a Director of Engineering or Engineering Manager position at a large operation.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Engineering, or Engineering Manager in larger operation.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
• Director of Engineering is responsible to ensure the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.
