The ideal candidate brings proven experience in delivery leadership, along with the ability to build, manage, and scale high-performing teams in a global delivery environment, aligning engineering outcomes with business objectives.

End-to-End Delivery Ownership

• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Ensure timely delivery with high quality, scalability, and performance.

Team Management and Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and scale multi-functional engineering teams.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations.

Technical Leadership

• Provide architectural direction across modern technology stacks (Java preferred).
• Ensure best practices in coding, design patterns, and system scalability.
• Conduct design and code reviews to maintain engineering excellence.

Agile Execution

• Oversee sprint planning, execution, and delivery.
• Ensure predictable, efficient, and high-quality release cycles.

Stakeholder and Client Management

• Collaborate with business, product, and global stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.

Delivery Excellence and Governance

• Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SLAs, and cost efficiency.
• Track and improve delivery metrics and team productivity.

DevOps and Production Deployment

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production stability.
• Ensure smooth deployments and quick resolution of production issues.

Requirements

• 9-15 years of experience in software engineering with strong delivery and team management experience.
• Proven track record in leading large engineering teams (10+ members / multiple squads).
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Sprint-based delivery models.
• Exposure to global delivery environments / international stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Java, Spring Boot, and microservices experience is preferred (not mandatory).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (B. Tech. / B. E. ) in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• A master's degree (M. Tech/MS) is preferred.
