Job summary

CheQ Digital Private Limited is seeking a senior mobile engineering leader to own the mobile strategy and delivery for Android and iOS. You will partner with Product, Design, and Business leadership to shape the roadmap and ensure high-impact B2C outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Partner with Product, Design, and Business leadership to define and own the mobile strategy, influence prioritization and trade-offs, and ensure delivery of high-impact B2C outcomes.
• Own the mobile engineering roadmap and execution strategy, ensuring predictable and synchronized delivery across Android and iOS platforms.
• Set and evolve the architectural direction for Android, iOS, and shared mobile components, balancing scalability, speed, and long-term maintainability.
• Be accountable for the quality, reliability, and performance of Android and iOS applications integrated with cloud-based backend services.
• Build, scale, and lead high-performing mobile teams and leaders, owning hiring strategy, performance standards, career growth, and succession planning.
• Provide technical and organizational leadership, guiding high-impact design decisions, unblocking systemic issues, and enabling teams to operate autonomously.
• Partner with Platform and DevOps leadership to ensure scalable CI/CD pipelines, release reliability, and strong production health across mobile platforms.
• Champion engineering excellence by setting the quality bar, defining best practices, and ensuring consistent adoption across mobile teams.
• Own the mobile security posture, ensuring user data, transactions, and platform integrity meet regulatory, business, and industry standards.
• Drive long-term improvements in developer productivity, platform scalability, and end- user experience across the mobile ecosystem.

What you’ll need

• 10+ years of engineering experience with a deep mobile background and a strong understanding of consumer mobile platforms.
• Proven experience leading and scaling multiple mobile teams, including managing Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders.
• Strong architectural judgment with the ability to set technical direction and make trade-offs across Android, iOS, and shared mobile components.
• Experience building and scaling B2C mobile products that integrate with cloud services, APIs, and real-time systems.
• Strong understanding of mobile quality, performance, reliability, and security, with accountability for production outcomes.
• Experience partnering closely with Product, Design, and Business leadership in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
