Job summary

PhonePe Limited is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide multiple subsystems, design scalable architectures, and drive production reliability. You will own end-to-end execution for areas under your supervision and mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 8+ years of software development experience and at least 3 years in leading teams, with strong communication across business, product, and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing software development teams.
• Startup or fast-paced environments experience is a plus.

Job Description

As a leader, you will be:

• Hiring, mentoring, and retaining a best-of-class engineering team
• Responsible for all stakeholder management including but not limited to business, product, operations and clients/vendors

As a leader, you must have:

• Proven skills designing and developing simple to complex solutions including experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven track record building and managing high-performing software development teams Practical experience and ability to drive design and architecture of multiple subsystems with other senior members in the team
• Past experience with startups and fast paced environments is an added advantage

Qualifications

• BTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in leading teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
