Job summary

Volante Technologies seeks an experienced Director of IT Infrastructure to lead our internal IT organization across multiple global locations. You will ensure secure, reliable access to technology, standardize and modernize infrastructure, and drive high-quality employee technology experiences.

The role covers end-user computing, corporate infrastructure, networks, identity & access management, and service delivery with emphasis on security and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years in IT Infrastructure, Corporate IT, or IT Service Delivery.
• Experience managing Internal IT operations across multiple locations.
• Strong experience in End-User Computing, IT asset management, workplace technology, networking, servers, IAM, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with enterprise environments using Microsoft 365, AD/Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Windows, networking and cloud services.
• Demonstrated experience managing IT vendors, budgets, procurement, and lifecycle programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Internal IT organization supporting employees across multiple office locations and geographies.
• Ensure provisioning, deployment, lifecycle management, and support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other workplace tech.
• Own and manage corporate IT infrastructure including servers, storage, identity services, networks, VPN, and collaboration platforms.
• Establish and maintain IT service management processes for incidents, requests, problems, changes, assets, and vendors.
• Ensure IT service delivery with defined SLAs across locations and lead planning for new offices and refresh initiatives.
• Develop and maintain standards for end-user computing, hardware/software lifecycle management, and infrastructure.
• Partner with Information Security for secure endpoint management, IAM controls, patching, and compliance.
• Drive automation, self-service capabilities, and continuous improvements to user experience and efficiency.
• Manage IT budgets, procurement, vendors, contracts, and technology lifecycle planning.
• Develop and lead a high-performing IT team across distributed resources and third-party providers.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Director – IT Infrastructure to leadand manage the organization's internal IT infrastructure and services across multipleglobal locations. The role will be responsible for ensuring employees have secure,reliable, and efficient access to the technology, infrastructure, and IT services requiredto perform their roles effectively.

The Director will lead the Internal IT organization responsible for end-user computing,

workplace technology, IT service delivery, corporate infrastructure, office networking,

and related IT operations. This role will drive standardization, modernization, security,

operational excellence, and a high-quality employee technology experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the Internal IT organization supporting employees across multiple office locations and geographies.
• Ensure timely provisioning, deployment, lifecycle management, and support for employee laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals, and other workplace technology.
• Own and manage corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, identityand access services, office networks, Wi-Fi, VPN, collaboration platforms, andrelated technologies.
• Establish and maintain IT service management processes for incident, request, problem, change, asset, and vendor management.
• Ensure consistent IT service delivery and defined SLAs for employee supportacross all locations.
• Lead office IT infrastructure planning for new offices, expansions, relocations,and technology refresh initiatives.
• Develop and maintain standards for end-user computing, hardware, software,asset lifecycle management, and IT infrastructure.
• Partner with Information Security to ensure secure endpoint management,identity and access controls, patching, vulnerability remediation, andcompliance with corporate security policies.
• Drive automation, self-service capabilities, and continuous improvements toenhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
• Manage IT budgets, procurement, hardware and software vendors, contracts,and technology lifecycle planning.
• Develop and lead a high-performing IT team, including geographically distributedresources and third-party service providers.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Corporate IT, or IT ServiceDelivery,
• Proven experience managing Internal IT operations across multiple locations and
• Strong experience in End-User Computing (EUC), IT asset management, workplace technology, networking, servers, identity and access management, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with enterprise environments using technologies such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD or Entra ID, Intune or endpoint management platforms, Windows, networking, and cloud services.
• Demonstrated experience managing IT vendors, budgets, procurement, and technology lifecycle programs.

Work Environment :

This role supports a geographically distributed organization and requires the ability to

manage IT teams and service providers across multiple locations and time zones. The

successful candidate should be comfortable supporting critical IT initiatives, major

incidents, office infrastructure changes, and business priorities outside standard

working hours when required.
