Job summary

Volante Technologies in Chennai is seeking a Specialist, Cloud Operations to manage and support our cloud infrastructure within the payments domain. You will work as part of an international cloud support team delivering hosted mission-critical systems for financial institutions and ensuring availability and reliability of solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT support/operations and 2+ years hands-on cloud experience (Azure or AWS).

Qualifications

• Graduate in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 5+ years of experience in IT technical support and operations.
• 2+ years hands-on experience on public cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Azure design, development, networking, integration.
• Experience with cloud security policies and infrastructure deployments in enterprise environments.
• Experience in Infrastructure as a Code (IaC).
• Experience in customer engagements from requirements gathering to delivery on cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in Azure S2S and P2S VPN setup and configuration.
• Expert in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Active Directory engineering, support, migration; DNS, DHCP, AD, Windows Server management.
• System Integration: SFTP, MQ, Webservices, etc.
• Networking knowledge: Firewall, VPN gateway, Azure Vnet, NSGs.
• Setting up Virtual Machines, Storage, Access Control, network security controls.
• Systems monitoring tools and reporting.
• Good communication skills at all levels.
• Good analytical troubleshooting skills.

Role Summary (23 sentences)

Working as a member of a Cloud support team providing managed services to the financial sector. The managed services include hosted mission critical systems for both top financial institutions. The role would primarily involve managing, maintaining, and supporting the cloud infrastructure where the companys Payment related products and solutions are running. To ensure that the solutions/products and their associated infrastructure are delivered and maintained for the necessary degree of availability and reliability.

What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Manage and maintain the companys cloud infrastructure

• Manage cloud storage

• Adhere to the procedures and controls for the management and maintenance of the Managed Services for improved customer service delivery.
• Patch and upgrade infrastructure components in a scheduled and controlled manner
• Set up and maintain infrastructure service monitoring and reporting capability to ensure that exceptions are managed on a proactive basis.
• Assist with providing and delivering both scheduled and unscheduled support services.
• Assist with the maintenance and review of application security policies, covering infrastructure, software, and data.
• Assist in Disaster Recovery tests and procedures

Education Criteria :
