Job summary

Mancer Consulting Services Private Limited is seeking an experienced HIM & Coding leader to steer large-scale coding operations, ensure high quality coding, compliance, and SLA-driven performance across Health Information Management. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in acute-care HIM, 5+ years in healthcare leadership, RHIA/RHIT/CCS, and strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, MS-DRG.

You will lead large coding teams, drive process transformation, and partner with CDI and A/R

Qualifications

• 8+ years of acute-care HIM experience, with inpatient and outpatient coding exposure.
• 5+ years of healthcare management/leadership experience.
• RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS certification required.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HIM coding operations, including coding quality, productivity, accuracy, compliance and SLAs.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced HIM & Coding leader to lead large-scale coding operations, ensure coding quality and compliance, and drive operational excellence across Health Information Management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end HIM coding operations , including coding quality, productivity, accuracy, compliance and SLAs. Manage and develop large coding teams and coding leadership. Drive process improvement, operational efficiency and transformation initiatives. Oversee coding backlogs, unbilled accounts, data quality and performance reporting. Partner with key stakeholders on coding, CDI, A/R and operational performance. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, coding guidelines and compliance standards. Drive continuous improvement, innovation and best practices across HIM operations.

Ideal Profile

8+ years of recent acute-care HIM experience , with strong inpatient and outpatient coding exposure. 5+ years of healthcare management/leadership experience. Experience managing a large coding/coding reviewer pool . Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS, APC and MS-DRG . Experience in process transformation, shared services, reengineering or change management is preferred. RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS certification required. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills. .
