Job summary

Icertis is seeking an AI-forward Senior Manager to lead the Finance Applications portfolio, driving end-to-end transformation of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report ecosystems. You will partner with Finance, IT and external vendors to deliver outcomes that move the business forward.

You will own a multi-year roadmap, govern cross-functional programs, and embed AI into delivery, testing, and documentation while ensuring SOX compliance and strong stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Enterprise Systems / Technical Program Management.
• 5+ years leading Finance application portfolios in mid-to-large enterprises (SaaS, subscription, or high-growth tech).
• Deep working knowledge of NetSuite (ERP), Zuora (Revenue) and SAP Ariba (Procure-to-Pay).
• AI fluency with Claude and/or Microsoft Copilot for practical delivery.
• Track record influencing VPs, CFOs and cross-functional peers with written decisions.
• Comfort with both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/Kanban/Lean); proficient in Jira/Confluence/MS Project.
• Experience with SOX/ITGC compliance and finance-system audit support.
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering/IT; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Turn ambiguous programs into structured plans with clear scope, owners, decisions and outcomes.

We are looking for an AI-forward, strategic Senior Manager to lead our Finance Applications portfolio within Enterprise Systems. This is a high-impact role for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings order to complex cross-functional programs, and uses AI as a force multiplier across delivery, design, and decision-making. You will own end-to-end transformation of our Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report ecosystems — partnering with Finance, Procurement, Revenue Operations, IT, and external vendors to deliver outcomes that move the business forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead with strategy. Define and own the multi-year roadmap for Finance enterprise applications, aligning technology investments with business objectives across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Revenue/Close cycles.
• Turn chaos into clarity. Step into ambiguous, fast-moving programs and bring structure — clear scope, owners, decisions, and outcomes — without slowing the business down.
• Drive AI-native delivery. Embed AI tools (Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and emerging assistants) into how the team operates: requirements drafting, test case generation, change documentation, status reporting, code review, and stakeholder communication. Set the standard for what an AI-augmented Finance Systems team looks like.
• Own the systems stack. Provide hands‑on leadership across NetSuite, Zuora, SAP Ariba, and Klarity — partnering with admins, developers, and integration teams on configuration, enhancements, integrations, and support.
• Manage stakeholders end‑to‑end. Be the trusted partner to Finance, Accounting, RevOps, Procurement, Legal, and IT leadership. Translate business problems into delivery plans; translate technical trade‑offs into business language.
• Run disciplined programs. Establish PMO best practices, govern scope/schedule/budget/quality, lead steering committees, manage risks and escalations, and deliver predictably across waterfall, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and hybrid models.
• Lead vendors and SIs. Manage external implementation partners and product vendors — set expectations, hold them to outcomes, and integrate their work cleanly with internal teams.
• Protect the business. Ensure compliance with SOX, ITGC, and information security policies. Partner with internal and external auditors as a credible system and process owner.
• Continuously improve. Identify automation, simplification, and AI‑driven opportunities that reduce cost, accelerate close, improve data quality, and free the team for higher‑leverage work.

Qualifications

• Experience. 15+ years in Enterprise Systems / Technical Program Management, including 5+ years leading Finance application portfolios in mid‑to‑large enterprises (preferably SaaS, subscription, or high‑growth tech).
• Hands‑on systems expertise. Deep, working knowledge of NetSuite (ERP), Zuora (Revenue) and SAP Ariba (Procure‑to‑Pay). You can sit with an admin or developer and reason about configuration, data flow, and integration design — not just manage from a distance.
• AI fluency — hands‑on, not theoretical. Demonstrated, daily use of Claude and/or Microsoft Copilot to ship work faster: writing prompts that get usable output, building lightweight workflows, evaluating AI suggestions critically, and coaching a team/s to do the same.
• Stakeholder management at the highest level. Track record of influencing VPs, CFOs, controller, and cross‑functional peers — managing divergent expectations and landing decisions in writing.
• Chaos‑to‑clarity operator. Known for walking into messy programs and producing a one‑page plan that everyone agrees with by end of week.
• Program delivery range. Comfort with both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean); fluent in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and modern collaboration tooling.
• Compliance grounding. Practical understanding of SOX, ITGC, segregation of duties, and audit support for finance systems.
• Education. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline. MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.

Nice To have

• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent program management certification.
• Experience with Salesforce, Coupa, or Oracle Fusion Apps adjacent to the core stack.
• Prior experience leading offshore/onshore delivery models from Pune.
• Exposure to data platforms azure datalake and finance analytics.
