Responsibilities

• Lead the revenue assurance function for the Company
• Consolidate and review all revenue entries booked from various streams
• Reconcile revenues with the sub‑systems and document the reasons for any differences
• Manage a team of 4-5, including training and coaching
• Present monthly revenues to stakeholders during the month‑close process
• Maintain all documentation for SOX purposes
• Assist in automating current processes
• Maintain and update a summary listing of accounting issues, working with management to summarize key issues and exposure items, and clearly articulate summaries and positions taken
• Work closely with external auditors to coordinate audits and reviews

Skillset

• MBA / CA with 8-10 years of experience in a revenue assurance role
• Experience working with a US Public Company in an SOX environment
• Understanding of nuances and differences between billing and revenue as per ASC 606
• Experience reconciling multiple tracking systems (tracking, billing, revenue)
• Link contractual commitments with billing and revenue
• Track billing against accruals to avoid revenue leakages
• Maintain deferred revenue schedules and periodically assess stale items in the schedule
• Review variance analysis MoM, QoQ, YoY on all aspects of revenue including customer level, BU level, etc.
• Experience in automation and process improvement, such as integration of subsystems and ERP
