Conversion from Trainee to Engineer

Job summary

Endurance Technologies in Pune seeks a trainee to engineer role for CNC machining. You will operate CNC machines, follow control plans and customer specifications, and record data while performing routine maintenance. The role emphasizes TPM, Lean, Kaizen and 5S practices, and requires reporting abnormalities to the supervisor.

Successful trainees can convert to Engineer grade after one year of traineeship, with opportunities for growth within the automotive manufacturing space.

Qualifications

• Exposure to CNC machine operation in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow control plans, drawings and customer specifications.
• Willingness to perform routine maintenance and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, and special-purpose machining centers as per production requirements.
• Ensure machining quality as per control plans, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Record production data, rejection details, and machine downtime in prescribed formats.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and autonomous maintenance activities.
• Follow TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
• Identify process abnormalities and report them to the supervisor.
• Support changeovers, tool replacement, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements and company policies.
