Through our flagship programs including ScreenSmart, GameSmart, and CyberSmart, we empower students to develop healthy relationships with technology while strengthening their wellbeing, confidence, and decision-making.## About the roleWe are seeking compassionate, engaging, and science-driven Digital Wellbeing & Child Development Specialists to lead our Future Ready programs for children, teenagers, and parents.This role is ideal for professionals with backgrounds in Child Psychology, Counselling, Educational Psychology, Human Development, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Wellbeing Education who are passionate about helping young people build healthy digital habits.Rather than simply teaching about technology, you will help learners understand how digital experiences influence attention, emotions, behaviour, relationships, sleep, learning, and overall wellbeing. Sessions are highly interactive, practical, and evidence-based, encouraging reflection, discussion, and real-world application.As part of aiqon's multidisciplinary education team, you will play a key role in preparing the next generation not only to use technology responsibly, but to flourish alongside it.## What you'll teach* Healthy screen habits and digital balance* Gaming wellbeing and responsible gaming* Cyber safety and online privacy* Social media awareness* Digital citizenship and respectful online behaviour* Emotional wellbeing* Sleep and technology* Focus and attention management* Building resilience in a connected world* Critical thinking and responsible AI use* Family digital wellbeing plans## Why join aiqonAt aiqon, you'll help shape a generation that is not only technologically capable but also emotionally resilient, ethically grounded, and equipped to navigate an increasingly digital future with confidence.You'll work alongside experts in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Robotics, and Space Science as part of a mission to deliver world-class, science-first education that prepares learners for life—not just for exams.Whether you join us full-time or part-time, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students, families, and schools while contributing to one of the most innovative education initiatives in the region.## Responsibilities### Digital Wellbeing Education* Deliver engaging sessions on healthy technology use, screen balance, gaming habits, digital citizenship, cyber safety, and online wellbeing.* Teach aiqon's flagship programs including ScreenSmart, GameSmart, and CyberSmart.* Help learners develop practical strategies for managing screen time, online relationships, digital distractions, and technology-related stress.### Child Development & Wellbeing* Facilitate age-appropriate discussions around emotional wellbeing, confidence, self-regulation, resilience, empathy, focus, sleep, and healthy routines.* Support learners in developing positive habits that promote both academic success and personal wellbeing.* Recognize common developmental and behavioural challenges and guide students using evidence-based approaches.### Parent & Family Engagement* Conduct workshops for parents on digital parenting, screen management, online safety, gaming, and healthy family technology practices.* Provide practical recommendations that families can implement at home.* Foster strong partnerships between educators and parents to support children's wellbeing.### Learning Experience* Create highly interactive classroom experiences using activities, case studies, role plays, discussions, and reflective exercises.* Provide constructive feedback that encourages growth and confidence.* Adapt teaching approaches for different age groups and learning styles.### Curriculum Development* Contribute to the continuous improvement of aiqon's Future Ready curriculum.* Incorporate emerging research on child development, psychology, digital wellbeing, and online behaviour into learning materials.* Help design engaging classroom resources, activities, and assessment tools.## Requirements### Desired qualifications* Background in one or more of: Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, Counselling, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Child Development, Social Work, Education, Youth Work, Mental Health, or Behavioural Sciences.* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree highly regarded.### Ideal candidate* Has a genuine passion for helping children thrive in today's digital world.* Communicates with warmth, empathy, and professionalism.* Can facilitate sensitive discussions with confidence and care.* Enjoys working with children, teenagers, educators, and parents.* Understands the psychological and developmental impacts of technology use.* Believes in practical, research-informed education rather than fear-based messaging.* Is curious, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning.### Preferred experience* Child counselling or school counselling* Educational psychology or youth mental health* Child development or behaviour management* Digital wellbeing programs or cyber safety education* Parenting education or classroom teaching and facilitation* Flexible work mode: remote, in-person, or hybrid—depending on program needs and your preference.Due to high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
