Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an RPA Operations Engineer in Bengaluru to monitor and manage UiPath environments, including Orchestrator configuration and asset management. You will perform initial root-cause analysis on automation failures and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable production runs.

The role requires at least 2 years of RPA experience with UiPath, AWS knowledge, and scripting skills. You will work in rotational shifts and support weekend maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage UiPath environments including Orchestrator and assets management.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and perform first-level root-cause analysis.
• Monitor bot schedules, queues, and triggers for timely runs.
• Analyze error logs and execution reports; apply fixes.
• Handle incident tickets within SLAs and provide production support.
• Validate Python scripts and resolve basic runtime errors.
• Escalate complex issues to developers with details.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure compliance with security, access and change-management processes.
• Participate in daily monitoring and shift handovers.
• Coordinate with infra, dev, QA, automation and operations teams.
• Follow SDLC and ITIL processes; participate in CAB.

Job description

• Monitor and manage UiPath environments, especially UiPath Orchestrator, including bot configuration, job monitoring, queue management, code migrations, and assets management.


• Perform first-level troubleshooting of automation failures and conduct initial root-cause analysis.


• Monitor bot schedules, queues, and triggers to ensure timely automation runs.


• Analyze error logs, execution reports, and alerts; apply predefined fixes or workarounds.


• Handle incident tickets and service requests within defined SLAs.


• Restart jobs, reprocess failed transactions, and perform basic production support.


• Validate Python script execution and resolve basic runtime errors.


• Escalate complex issues to developers with diagnostic details.


• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.


• Ensure compliance with security, access, and change-management processes.


• Participate in daily monitoring, health checks, and shift handovers.


• Support minor enhancements, configuration updates, and bot parameter changes.


• Coordinate with infrastructure, development, QA, automation, and operations teams.


• Follow SDLC and ITIL processes and participate in CAB activities.


• Assist with Oracle/MySQL database operations, basic queries, and connectivity troubleshooting.
