Job summary

TVS Motor Company is seeking an automotive CAD designer to deliver digital design proposals and surface models in collaboration with concept and engineering teams. The role focuses on producing CAS and alternative proposals, and executing Digital Mockups as directed.

The position involves delivering Class A surface quality, supporting the concept team with underlays, and maintaining design documentation while participating in studio reviews and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAS, alternative proposals
• Execute Digital Mock ups 5M/0M as per lead’s directions
• Deliver criteria compliant (meeting clearance and engg requirements) Class A surface subsystem level
• Support concept team with underlay
• Create Digital benchmark library of competition vehicles
• Modify and update design proposals based on feedbacks.
• Participate in studio discussions, review sessions, and design workshops.
• Learn studio workflows, tools, and best practices.
• Understand component requirements of vehicle architecture
• Awareness on product portfolio. Create part level design guidelines
• Accountable for timely delivery of assigned CAS. S0. S1, S2
• Surface design adhering to the design direction, technical criteria
• Maintain file hygiene, confidentiality, and team collaboration.
