Job summary

Akku in Chennai invites a Digital Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across SEO, paid media, social, content, and email to boost visibility, traffic, and conversions. You will work with the Marketing Head to drive results and growth.

The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, strong analytics, and proficiency with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GA, and SEO tools.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of digital marketing experience.
• Strong understanding of fundamentals across SEO, SEM, social, email, and content.
• Hands-on with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads Manager, GA, GSC, and GTM.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush) a plus.
• Experience with Mailchimp/HubSpot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across SEO/AEO, SEM/PPC, social media, email, and content marketing.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, including budget allocation, targeting, and optimization.
• Develop and execute the social media strategy and content calendar for LinkedIn.
• Create and write content for blogs, landing pages, social media posts, ad copies, and email campaigns.
• Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business goals.
• Support on-page and off-page SEO activities, including keyword research and content optimization.
• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, automation, and performance tracking.
• Track and analyze campaign performance across channels using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience research to inform marketing strategy.
• Manage marketing budgets across channels and optimize spend for ROI.
• Coordinate with design and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints.
• Monitor industry trends and new digital marketing tools and techniques.
• Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar is a plus
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar is a plus
• Working knowledge of social media management and scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar is a plus
• Basic understanding of CMS platforms such as WordPress
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and channels simultaneously
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail

Education:

• Any degree; a background in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• Certifications in Digital Marketing, Google Ads, or Google Analytics are an added advantage
