Job summary

Horizon Technology Solutions is expanding its social media presence and seeks a curious learner to craft engaging posts and short videos for Instagram and LinkedIn. You will work from briefs and brand templates using Canva and AI video tools, with training provided.

You’ll learn about content strategy for B2B and finance audiences, run the content calendar, track performance, and collaborate with a team as automation is introduced into the workflow.

Qualifications

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn; no prior experience required.
• Comfort with computers and quick learning of new tools.
• Good written English & Malayalam (Hindi a plus).
• A good eye for layout and visuals; active use of Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Reliability: meeting deadlines and following a process.
• Willingness to take feedback and revise.

Responsibilities

• Create Instagram and LinkedIn posts (carousels, static posts, reels) in Canva from briefs and templates.
• Produce short videos using AI video generation tools following provided prompts.
• Write clear, engaging captions, hooks and on-screen text.
• Maintain the content calendar and publish on schedule.
• Keep a simple weekly record of posts and engagement metrics.
• Suggest improvements based on performance and flag trends or ideas.
• Keep posts consistent with brand colours, fonts and tone.
• Collaborate as automation is introduced into the workflow.

About the Role

We’re a growing company building its social media presence from the ground up. You’ll turn campaign ideas and content briefs into polished posts and short videos for Instagram and LinkedIn, using Canva and AI video tools. Prior experience is not mandatory. You’ll train on our workflow and templates, and you’ll learn by doing real work.

What You’ll Do

• Create Instagram and LinkedIn posts (carousels, static posts, reels) in Canva from our briefs and brand templates
• Produce short videos using AI video generation tools, following our prompts and guidelines
• Write clear, engaging captions, hooks and on-screen text
• Maintain the content calendar and publish on schedule
• Keep a simple weekly record of what you posted and how it performed (views, likes, saves, comments)
• Suggest improvements based on what’s working, and flag trends or ideas you spot
• Keep every post consistent with brand colours, fonts and tone
• Work with the team as we introduce automation into the content workflow

What We’re Looking For
