Job summary

Limagrain Field Seeds Asia Pacific in Hyderabad seeks a Scientist – Doubled Haploid (DH) to lead the DH pipeline within R&D. You will plan production, manage haploid induction, chromosome doubling, nurseries, and seed production, and collaborate with breeders to advance DH lines.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Biotechnology, or Agronomy with 5–8 years of DH tech experience, strong data analysis skills, and English proficiency.

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Biotechnology, Agronomy or related fields.
• 5–8 years of experience in DH technology or plant breeding R&D.
• Strong knowledge of maize breeding, DH production, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with molecular breeding, genotyping, or tissue culture is an advantage.
• Proficiency in data management software and excellent communication in English.
• Leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving mindset.

We are looking for a Scientist – Doubled Haploid (DH) to join our Research & Development Department at Yadaram, Hyderabad. This role is ideal for professionals with 5+ years of experience in plant breeding, genetics, or biotechnology, who are passionate about advancing agricultural innovation.

Main Goal

Your mission will be to lead and deliver the Doubled Haploid (DH) pipeline, ensuring high-quality DH lines that accelerate breeding cycles, improve genetic gain, and support Limagrain’s vision of sustainable agriculture.
