Schneider Electric in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Demand & Supply Planning professional to lead18-month demand forecasting, drive S&OP, and align with business leaders. The role emphasizes collaborative forecasting, stock optimization, and risk mitigation across the supply chain.

You will generate statistical demand plans, enrich with pricing and promotions, set stocking strategies, monitor aging stock, and reduce end-to-end lead times using Kinaxis and SAP.

Qualifications

• 10 years plus experience in Demand & Supply Planning.
• Knowledge of SAP and Kinaxis planning tools.
• MBA preferred for senior leadership in planning.

Responsibilities

• Demand planning for assigned Business unit and lead 18-month rolling forecast with CSF.
• Generate statistical demand plan and enrich with pricing/promotions from CSF discussions.
• Decide stocking strategy and safety stock; propagate replenishment in Kinaxis.
• Monitor unhealthy/aging stock and coordinate liquidation actions.
• Reduce end-to-end supply lead time through optimal stocking and logistics.
• Lead S&OP discussions with Business to align demand, supply and mitigate risks.

Job description

1. Demand planning for assigned Business unit . Lead collaborative sales forecasting (CSF) process with the Business Unit Offer leaders and arrive at agreed demand plan for rolling 18 months. Collaborate and lead agreement on Demand plan vs Business Financial plant at product activity level for the Business Unit.

2. Statistical demand plan generation, enrichment of demand plan with pricing , promotion and specific project inputs from CSF discussions. Update and commit Demand plan aligned with CSF in planning tool, Kinaxis as per monthly drumbeat.

3. Distribution requirement planning : Decide Stocking strategy & safety stock for each distribution center in line with analytics proposal and aligned with Business Offer leader. Ensure that replenishment plan is accurately propagated in the supply chain. Identify supply risks for revenue realisation and propose mitigation actions / alternatives.

4. Unhealthy / ageing stock monitoring, work with Business for liquidation and reduction of unhealthy inventory and impact on provision.

5. End to End supply lead time reduction through right stocking strategy, safety stocks and logistics offer.

6. Lead SIOP discussion with Business team to drive alignment on Demand, supply and solutions for risk mitigation. Pro-actively identify, elevate and resolve issues related to Demand and supply.

  Qualifications – B.E. /B.Tech, preferably with MBA of overall experience of 10 yrs in Demand & Supply Planning.

  Knowledge of SAP & Planning tool e.g Kinaxis.
