Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a senior Demand Planning & Forecasting expert in India to develop statistical forecasts across SKUs, modalities, and customer segments using Kinaxis. The role collaborates in S&OP/IBP cycles, aligning inputs from Sales, Marketing and Finance, and translating them into actionable demand signals for supply planning.

The ideal candidate will have 10–12 years of experience in demand planning, strong analytics, and experience with Kinaxis and SAP.

• Expertise with Kinaxis planning tool and SAP reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical and consensus demand forecasts at SKU, modality, and customer segment levels using Kinaxis.
• Analyze historical demand, market trends, sales pipeline, promotions, tenders, and seasonality to improve forecast accuracy.
• Maintain rolling forecasts monthly/quarterly/annual aligned with business planning cycles.
• Participate in S&OP/IBP cycles and drive demand review meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Translate commercial inputs into actionable demand signals for supply planning.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and Global Planning Teams.
• Challenge inputs constructively to ensure unbiased forecasts and provide clear demand insights to leadership.
• Track KPIs like Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Service Levels, Inventory Turns, Obsolescence Risk; identify root causes of deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning processes and data quality.
• Maintain demand planning data in Kinaxis and SAP reporting platforms; support system enhancements and data harmonization.
• Ensure master data accuracy (product hierarchies, lead times, lifecycle status).

• Translate commercial inputs into actionable demand signals for supply planning.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and Global Planning Teams.
• Challenge and validate inputs constructively to ensure unbiased forecasts.
• Provide clear demand insights to enable decision making at leadership level.

Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Track and report key KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Service Levels, Inventory Turns, and Obsolescence Risk.
• Identify root causes of forecast deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning processes and data quality.

Tools, Systems & Data Integrity

• Maintain demand planning data in Kinaxis and SAP reporting platforms.
• Support system enhancements, harmonization, and automation initiatives.
• Ensure master data accuracy (product hierarchies, lead times, lifecycle status).
