Persistent is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and implement secure pipelines, manage Kubernetes workloads, and automate cloud infrastructure across Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The role emphasizes security across the software development lifecycle and requires 5–8 years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will integrate SAST/DAST, SCA, and container scanning into deployment workflows, build robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, and work with Terraform

About Position:

We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, container security, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building secure deployment pipelines, managing containerized workloads, and integrating security practices throughout the software development lifecycle. What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure DevSecOps pipelines for enterprise applications.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes platforms.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable automated software delivery.

Expertise You Will Bring:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, or OpenShift.
• Expertise in Docker containerization and container lifecycle management.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Experience integrating security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes security, network policies, secrets management, and RBAC.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration and scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience supporting microservices and cloud-native application architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps-driven delivery environments.
