Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to design and maintain secure deployment pipelines and manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes. You will integrate security across the SDLC, automate infrastructure with Terraform, and optimize CI/CD processes for enterprise apps.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience in DevSecOps/DevOps, strong Kubernetes and cloud expertise (AWS/Azure), and hands-on security tooling knowledge. Hybrid work model with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in DevSecOps/DevOps
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms (EKS/AKS/OpenShift)

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure DevSecOps pipelines for enterprise applications.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes platforms.

Expertise You Will Bring:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, or OpenShift.
• Expertise in Docker containerization and container lifecycle management.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Experience integrating security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes security, network policies, secrets management, and RBAC.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration and scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience supporting microservices and cloud-native application architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps-driven delivery environments.
