About Position:

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Lead with 8 to 12 years of expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Migration, Infrastructure Automation, and DevOps engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment practices, along with a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and production-ready enterprise solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises and multi-cloud environments to GCP.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Build and manage Kubernetes-based container orchestration platforms and cloud-native workloads.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting frameworks for cloud environments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Automate operational processes and deployment activities to improve engineering productivity.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, platform, deployment, and application issues.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards, governance policies, and operational best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews, production readiness assessments, and technical design discussions.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and proactively drive corrective actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor engineers and promote DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Agile delivery processes and contribute to release planning, sprint activities, and engineering governance.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and cloud-native architecture.
• Extensive experience leading cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code implementation.
• Strong experience administering and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and containerized application deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security controls, and governance practices.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, release management, and deployment automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities for production environments.
• Experience supporting highly available, resilient, and scalable enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python, Shell Scripting, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of security, reliability, maintainability, and operational excellence principles.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
