Job summary

Whitefield Careers is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer in Bengaluru to manage production-grade Kubernetes environments and cloud infrastructure. You will contribute to the existing codebase when required and build robust automation across CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, strong Kubernetes administration, Docker, and IaC expertise, with a hybrid Bangalore work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, DNS, SSL, and ingress controllers.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure for production workloads.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
