Job summary

Kiya.ai is hiring a DevOps Support Engineer based in Chennai. The role requires 2 to 5 years of experience in DevOps and production support with hands-on knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Linux administration. The candidate must be Chennai-based and ready for immediate to short notice joining.

Key tasks include incident management, RCA, monitoring, and ITSM interactions using ServiceNow or Jira Service Management. Strong English communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
• 2–5 years of production DevOps or support experience.
• Exposure to ITSM processes (ITIL) and ticket systems (ServiceNow or Jira Service Management).
• Familiar with job scheduling tools such as AutoSys or equivalent.
• Knowledge of VMware, HA/DR, backup strategies and incident management (RCA).
• Basic SQL knowledge with Oracle/SQL Server.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English.

Mandate : Openshift + Windows+ kubernetes + Linux

Experience : 2 to 5 years

Location : Chennai ( Prefers only chennai based work profiles )

MANDATORY SKILLS

• DevOps Tools: GitLab, Ansible, Kubernetes , OpenShift
• Linux/Unix: commands with Administration and troubleshooting
• Production Support: Incident management, RCA and monitoring
• ITSM: ITIL, ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
• Job Scheduling: AutoSys or equivalent
• Infrastructure: VMware, Backup, High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
