Job summary

Mizuho Pune is hiring a DevOps Engineer with 5-12 years of experience to build and manage CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation. You will work hands-on with Jenkins, GitLab, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, and Azure.

Responsibilities include designing pipelines, managing release workflows, deploying containerized apps, and ensuring platform reliability across production and non-production environments.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of DevOps/Platform/Cloud experience.
• Hands-on with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, Azure.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Shell, PowerShell).

• Create, maintain, and optimize Helm charts for repeatable deployments.
• Deploy and manage Azure cloud resources with focus on availability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot deployment and platform issues, perform RCA, automate recurring tasks, and collaborate with teams.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 5-12 years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, and Azure to support enterprise application delivery, platform reliability, operational excellence, and cloud-native transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, merge requests, release workflows, and deployment automation.
• Build, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms across non-production and production environments.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Helm charts for repeatable and controlled application deployments.
• Deploy and manage Azure cloud resources with focus on availability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot deployment and platform issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), automate recurring tasks, and collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.

Required Skills:

• 5-10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and OpenShift.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native application architectures.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, release management, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on scripting experience using Shell Scripting (Bash) and PowerShell.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and Agile/Scrum collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience and understanding of Airflow, Databricks, & Snowflake.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, ELK, or AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, container security, and vulnerability management; Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or DevOps certifications are an advantage.
