Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cloud and Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS, while ensuring cost optimization and robust security.

You will administer OpenShift clusters, handle deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, and provide Elasticsearch administration, monitoring, backups, and data lifecycle management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven experience supporting Azure and AWS in production.
Hands-on OpenShift platform administration and support.
Experience with Elasticsearch administration and performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Your tasks

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS, including networking, compute, storage, IAM, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Support and administer OpenShift platforms, including cluster operations, application deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, security, and performance tuning.
Provide Elasticsearch support, including cluster administration, indexing and search performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and data lifecycle management.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven experience supporting and administering Azure and AWS cloud environments in production.
Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift platform administration and support.
Practical experience with Elasticsearch administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
