Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz India Pvt. Ltd is seeking a seasoned security professional to operate, maintain and enhance our global security platform infrastructure, including endpoint security, DLP, email security and vulnerability management, across multiple teams.

The role requires extensive experience with Windows/Linux, scripting (Python/PowerShell) and ITIL-based service management, with strong English communication skills and a readiness to work in a global team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security or comparable, ideally with professional experience in malware defense within a global company for at least 6 years
Proven experience with Microsoft Defender solutions and technologies such as anti-virus, endpoint security, vulnerability management and DLP (Purview)
Proven knowledge of how to work with Windows and Linux operating systems
Practical handling of scripting languages such as Python or Powershell
Good knowledge of network and system technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Active Directory
Experience with IT service management, the ITIL framework
Experience with SIEM systems and log management is helpful
Experience with malware defense solutions like sandboxing and email security services are helpful
Capabilities to analyze complex processes
Good communication skills and collaboration with different stakeholders
Act as a team player in a global team
Very good language skills in English
Experience with data protection frameworks (like GDPR) is helpful
Certifications such as ITIL, ISMS professional or similar are also desirable

Responsibilities

Job description

Your tasks

Operation, maintenance, improvement and troubleshooting of our global security platform infrastructure with solutions such as endpoint security, DLP, email security, vulnerability management
Handling of faults in our technical services in accordance with our internal SLAs
Work on continuous improvement processes of our global technical services
You work closely with other teams in our organization, such as the Cyber Defense and Response Center, the network or the client and server teams
Creating or expanding documentation for our global infrastructure
Active participation in security initiatives or projects to increase security in our company
